Aerial Photographer

Kit Kittle has photographed from airplanes and helicopters all over the world. Below is where you might see his aerial photographs.

Kit’s air to air photographs from Alaska appeared in The Bush Pilots, published by Time-Life Books. His aerial photographs of Antarctica appeared in Smithsonian, his aerial photographs of Hawaii in Travel & Leisure and his aerial photographs of New York in The New York Times.

Kittle has produced aerial photography of resorts in Tahiti and Moorea for Sofitel Hotels, resorts in Hawaii for Marriott, and resorts in St. Kitts and Nevis for Travel Holiday.

Kittle has also done extensive aerial photography work for the cruise industry. He has done aerial photography work for Crystal Cruises in Kauai, Honolulu, Prince Edward Island and the Saint Lawrence River. He has done aerial photography for Princess Cruises in Alaska, Mexico and Grand Cayman. Kit has also done aerial photography work for P&O in New York harbor.

Kittle has also done extensive aerial photography shoots for The Bahamas Ministry of Tourism and has also done aerial photography work in the British Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.

His photographs were first published by The Philadelphia Museum of Art in 1980. Within a year, he was a working photojournalist with credits in Time magazine, Travel & Leisure and Food & Wine. In 1982, American Photographer magazine recognized him as a “New Face in Magazine Photojournalism.”

Since then, Kittle has accumulated thousands of credits in hundreds of publications worldwide. Newspapers include The NY Times, The LA Times, The Intn’l Herald Tribune, the Guardian, and the Observer. Magazines include Vanity Fair, Sports Illustrated, Newsweek, Vogue, Smithsonian and Town & Country. Web clients include AOL, Expedia and National Geographic.com.
